Shashank BALAJI

With master's and bachelor's degrees in AI and engineering, Shashank has garnered valuable experience working with startups and contributing to cutting-edge research. Having worked in both Europe and Scandinavia, he has honed his skills in diverse settings. He recently pivoted from his doctoral degree at UiA to pursue more intriguing avenues. As an AI engineer at Nexro, a music tech startup located in Oslo, that specializes in predicting and optimizing music artists' careers using big data. With a keen focus on leveraging AI for music-related applications, he aims to revolutionize role of AI in the industry landscape. Shashank will deliver a keynote on "Demystifying AI's Role in the Music Industry," where he will delve into the various aspects of AI. He aims to convey that AI doesn’t spell completely bad news for the music industry. Drawing from his experiences at Nexro, he will showcase how AI can be leveraged positively within the industry.
