What you Need to Know About Copyright and Legal Matters
The rapid evolution of technology in recent decades has created growing challenges for the protection of intellectual property. But contrary to what you may think, there are other laws and regulations, in addition to the Copyright law, that protect your work. However, creating music and the consumption of music is very different to how it was 50 years ago, before our “digital age”. In this keynote Stine Helén Pettersen will introduce and talk about the laws and regulations concerning protecting rights holders, and how it is applied to the music industry in Norway. She will then be joined by Nick Yule, Dani Deahl, Inger Elise Mey and Ole Henrik Antonsen, to further discuss the recent changes in Europe (and the US), and how it has and will affect the music industry.
