Etter år med vellykket arbeid med en rekke (nasjonale og verdenskjente) artister, har King LX bygget sitt eget kongerike, som viser seg å være like allsidig og fargerik som verden han lever i, hans opprinnelse og hans forståelse av hva det vil si å være en global borger.
Benji hersker uanstrengt over rytmer og tekster, og det resulterer i moderne og uttrykksfull popmusikk båret av soul og R'n'B.

Allerede før hans første utgivelse har King LX tiltrukket seg oppmerksomheten til ulike representanter for musikkbransjen – og med god grunn: prosjektet handler ikke bare om god og fengende musikk. King LX står for mangfold – i menneskelig og musikalsk forstand, bundet og grenseløst. Lyden av en ny generasjon, over hele verden.

Benji skrev sine egne tekster fra en tidlig alder og tok sine første steg som musiker i det lokale skolekorpset. I en alder av 22 samler han erfaring som sosialarbeider i USA, hvor sjefen hans tok ham med til kirken, hvor han oppdager stemmen og følelsen for musikk på nytt.

Fram til i dag sier han at disse påvirkningene har satt et "varig preg på ham og musikken hans.2

In the case of King LX, music that sounds like a piece of the future is created in a small coWage by the woods, where artists from all over the world meet to make music, take photographs, film and, of course, cook. At the core of what sustains King LX is the constant personal and artistic exchange, which the creative melting-pot provides to the project.

Even before his first release, King LX has attracted the attention of various music industry representatives – and with good reason: the project isn’t simply about good and catchy music. King LX stands for diversity – in a human and musical sense, bound- and limitless. The sound of a new generation, all over the world.

Benji writes his own lyrics from an early age and takes his first steps as a musician in the local school band. At the age of 22, he gathers experience as a social worker in the US, where his boss takes him to church, and he discovers his voice and feeling for music anew. Until this day, he says these influences have "left a lasting mark on him and his music.
